We aim for this stage to be somewhat of an anti climax. Nothing unexpected should happen if the testing and training levels we prescribe are kept to. Nethertheless we always place a consultant (or more than one in multi branch environments) on site for the first 2 or 3 days after go live. This typically overcomes any intial snagging and the subsequent visits by the consultants conclude the process. We have rarely missed our predicted go live dates and 20 years of practice has meant that the whole go live process is a relatively calm affair.
The consultant is also with you at your first month end and if you opt for our Tier 2 or Tier 3 support agreements then the consultant will be with you throughout the year – not to provide support (as that is included within the base support agreement) but to “drive” your software into the business and ensure that every conceivable benefit is derived from your initial investment.
